All the Fall ball and preseason Spring stats...

We see why the pitching stats were so impressive... these guys are terrible hitters! Pitching staff as a whole may not be top notch SEC caliber, but have done well enough to win more games than we have. I lay it all on the poor hitting of this team for so many losses!

Solid observation tbh. It just sucks because we all thought our hitters were awesome thus making our pitching elite. Well, now we know our pitching is so so and the hitters, well, the proof is in the pudding

Well our pitchers held TN to lower hits than everyone else, and it was the bats that failed.

Maybe so, but planning a schedule knowing you only have 1 test (Texas), and even that turns out to not be a good barometer, did not help the staff figure out what they had going into SEC.

The schedule has to be better next year.
