I’ll admit it.
I thought it was a great move by O to recruit him.
I also bought Burrow would think it is a mistake to hitch his wagon to the Orgeron train. Hell it probably is, but I’m glad we got him.

If O couldn’t reel this guy in competing with literally one other school, Cincinnati at that, he should have been fired on the spot, because a starter ready QB groomed by Urban fricking Meyer with few options was never coming around again.

I have never been a fan of the O hire.
I had no clue whether JB would come or not.
After the Spring game, I knew we needed something at QB and I'm glad O went after him.
Still not excited about the O hire, but I always hope LSU does well...

I said, and still think, he will struggle trying to split snaps and learn the offense, AND perform well enough to be named starter...20 days in August just is not enough. On top of that, say Brennan is sharp. He would then be day 1 starter and this would all be an exercise in futility.
To me, it's just not enough time to be in control of entire offense.....too many guys battling for snaps in Aug.
