Most of these LSU posters who are rooting for Notre Dame may not know the history of college football and the polls. If you think that Southern Cal was the darling of ESPN, you haven't seen anything yet. If you think that Notre Dame won't recruit in Louisiana, you haven't seen anything yet. If you think BAMA is our biggest enemy in the future, you haven't seen anything yet. Notre Dame has its own national Public Relations television channel- called ESPN. Notre Dame could do no wrong for decades.

Again. It's doesn't make a bit of fricking difference, recruiting wise, if they win or lose that game.

FTR, I'm not pulling for anyone. Doubt I'll even watch it. Just saying the "if Bama wins it will be worse for recruiting!" argument is stupid. Bama just being there again after winning 2/3 is enough

Here's an idea for everyone - don't watch the game. You're actually not required to pull for either team.

Personally, I'd rather see the world end than have to sit through an Alabama-ND national title game.

yup. we definitely have to go through ND every year to win the division. They are battling us every year for recruits. ND is about to win their 3rd NC in 4 years. I'm so scared!

A quick look at the rosters reveals- Alabama has six Louisianians on its roster a couple who are key players.

Notre Dame has--- 0

Noted... But the rest of the recruiting argument is still valid. ND winning is worse than Bama winning recruiting wise IMO.

I have never ever pulled for the gumps, never will! I didn't even have pity on them when they sucked. I hate Notre Dame but just not as much as the bummers.

The funny thing is they don't understand why!

And so it begins.......

ESPN- Sports Reporters just said that the BCSCG will show if the SEC is all that its cracked up to be!

When it comes recruiting next year and what players are on the present roster - that's just a temporary thing, if Notre Dame wins. If Notre Dame wins and continue to win, they will be in the SOUTH - they will be ESPN 's media darling.

This is like watching a category 5 hurricane coming and you know that it is real and the naysayers are saying that it's just going to be a little wind. If Notre Dame wins, ESPN will always use it as their mantra and how Notre Dame put an end to the SEC.

Tell me about it. On my last job the boss was an Alabama fan. He's from Hammond and jumps on the bandwagon when saban got there.

During the game this year we were at work so Everytime we would score someone would come over the radio and announce the score. He obviously got pissed and over the radio said "y'all stop worrying about the game! Y'all have work to do".... Needless to say when they won he came over the radio talking shite about it. My god they are an insufferable bunch. But notre dame isn't any better. They both are completely oblivious (or wont acknowledge it) to the obvious special treatment. It's sickening.

I'm most likely not even watching.
