No way, LSU Baseball doesn't make the money to add such a expense. Plus LSU doesn't give refunds for a rainout... so I doubt they care.

it took them 3 years to install a mesh screen under the grandstand roof as a capital project to keep the birds that roosted up there from shitting on our heads, and you talk about a roof

yes and a new head coach

Lol the stadium cost 37 mill to build entirely. A retractable roof goes for about 25-50 depending on style. Plus, opening and closing it cost a fortune. Could you imagine how many people would bitch and moan about misallocating funds?

Do away with the terrible basketball team, then allocate all funding to the roof.
And hire a new head coach who is worth building the roof for.

Who is a head coach worth building the roof for?

Topicana tried that in Tampa since they have afternoon rain every day like clockwork. Balls hit the roof. Everyone hated playing there.
1. Tropicana Field in Tampa, never had a retractable roof.
2. It remains the only domed stadium in baseball without one.
3. To be fair the balls hit the catwalks, not the actual roof. (10 times in game situations)
4. People STILL hate playing there, as it is currently in use
