Overall, defense has improved. We're better in the secondary and at the linebackers. I think we've regressed a little at the D-line, but that has more do with experience than anything.

On offense, we've regressed overall. We are much, much better at the QB position, and better at receiver, but our O-Line is absolutely terrible.

No our defense is good.

Our Offense just needs to make a complete game. Our passing ooked better, but there was no run game. If we put them together we gould be pretty decent. Also saw a Virginia Tech stat the other day, they haven't been ranked over 99th offensively in the last four years, but still have won at least 10 games.

That's all you got?

The passing game was at least respected last year.

Our offence has no timing. When we us the no huddle is when we make things happen. Coaching and play calling has got to change or this season is going to be like last year.

Agree. In particular the O-line. If that unit comes around we will be much better.

i'm ok with our defense. we've had better, but these guys play hard and they are tackling better. i think they well continue to get better. i do think our DLine is weaker than the previous few years, but our LB's are better. As far as the offense goes, we are trying all kinds of plays to find our identity. this is crazy, but it's like we have too many skill players and have been trying to involve them all. we are trying to execute a lot of different type of plays using a lot of different players and we are not executing smoothly. to top it all off, our OLine and our perimeter blocking just isn't getting it done; they are not allowing us to get good rushing yardage and the opposition is blowing up our perimeter plays. to me, this year is a rebuilder for the offense. i can see us 8-4 or 9-3 and 10-2 if our O starts clicking late in the season. all of this is predicated on the team hanging in there and not giving up like they did last year.

This year the D has a plan but due to lack of talent in Front 7 it has problems implementing that plan. Last year the D was clueless but more talented. I'll take Chavis over last years duo by a mile.

Defense will come together and be fine.

Offense has problems. We just played the weakest secondary we will play against all year and only mustered less than 30 pts.

I doubt LSU could mount a comeback if down late in a game.

I am encouraged by the defensive effort. Offense is WAY out of sync.

i've watched georgia 3 times this year. they are without a doubt beatable. their secondary has not looked good and ariz st ran the ball on them.

their offense is very inconsistent. they threw on ark but ark's secondary is HORRIBLE. from what i've seen, lsu's secondary will be by far the best georgia has seen this season

lsu should be able to pass successfully on georgia but i doubt the problems with the running game will be solved by sat. georgia is definitely going to move the ball but i don't know if they will be able to do it consistently.

from what i've seen, lsu and georgia are pretty even, both inconsistent.

i think lsu needs to forget about running between the tackles in the first half. pass and run misdirections, sweeps, etc. if that is somewhat successful in the first half, come back with the run game in the second.
