Aggies game is absolute must win

Baker better figure it out or playoffs will be a pipe dream. Win this game and October will be difficult, but manageable.

For playoff hopes? Obviously we can’t afford a loss to A&M, but I don’t think we will make the playoffs this season. Year 1 is too soon in this rebuild, but nobody wants to hear that.

To have any chance at the playoffs, we had to start the season 3-1. Then find a way to split between Texas and Alabama while sweeping the others. If we win this one, the odds are good we are 7-1 going to Tuscaloosa and probably in the top five.

Leavitt and OL pass protection are also 2 of the top 3 issues.

First-thought gimme wins are looking a little tougher now against an improved Kentucky team on the road and a hard to defend star QB with Miss. State. And another hostile environment with Tenner on the road will be no cakewalk either.

We will be favored in every game minus Texas. And that is probably the other game we will lose. Bama needed weather to erase a pitiful performance. They’re not going go be favored to beat us.
*i have us at 10-2 losing to Ole Miss and Texas and then beating Texas in the semifinals. I have us losing to Georgia in the NC. I have all of my scores written on a black book that I’ve shared with my family as we have a bet about who can come closest to actual record.*
But back to you saying,”We aren’t going in year one”, I just laid out a case that says we aren’t very likely to. Tennessee may be the trip up but we will still be a 1.5-3 favorite on the road. And we could beat Texas and lose to the Vols. And this isn’t a “rebuild”.
4 SEC teams are going to the playoffs this year. Right now, 8 have a strong case but 4 have to go. This weekend, one of them definitely drops out.

That Alabam schedule is way too easy - gives me the red arse. Even if we defeat those bastards, I’m concerned they finish 10-2, while we finish 9-3. Committee will take them over us. We need old miss to finish 8-4 to get out of our way.

We as fans need to bring it Saturday night. I hate losing to the Aggies and we need to get back on track.
