DeltaDoc did not go negative. He may not share your same opinion.

And you got all that from a spring scrimmage game, did you.
You sure went negative on him.

7-5
Something is just not right. QB,too many undersized players on "D", and really still don't have much confidence in CLM.

My opinion is you can't judge/predict a fall football season off a spring scrimmage game.
If you can, more power to you.

Well that is what we do on here, talk LSU football, and the spring game is all we have to go on.
And to those that don't like the thread topic, find a thread talking about whatever you want to talk about. You don't have to participate in all of them, geeks.

No, but many are tired of hearing about QB improvement supposedly occurring in practice going on three seasons now, and then the starter goes out and lays another turd in the spring game when he plays behind the first string OL. I sincerely doubt that he has a very high football IQ, much less for a QB.

The running game will be nice. Get ready to see us lean on it. A LOT.

I think we have three losses.

It is going to take more bodies than just Ridley and Ford then. I like RM's attitude, but he has yet to make the case for being an above average back and has no durability.
No matter who the team is, if all you can do is run the ball and the opponent has equivalent or more physical players then LSU will lose just pounding the ball. Conversely, I am not sold yet on LSU being able to stop the run up the middle, but maybe they will.

what is your honest opinion of the 2010 team? Just trying to get a good idea of what everyone is thinking
(11-1)We only lose to Florida at Florida and beat them in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. That's my honest opinion.

I haven't seen it yet, but with the sky is falling mentality I've seen on the rant......My expectations are not as high as they were a month ago!

Perhaps, but it was high enough to get the team he guided to a 3rd place finish in the SEC and a #17 finish nationally.

I am all for the
, but how many good SEC teams were there after Bama and UF? Coming in 3rd given the drop off after those two isn't reason for cartwheels.
I hope whomever plays QB for LSU has a great season, but seems to be a lot of work to be done prior to September.

You really want to knock the strength of the SEC in football?
It was the #1 power conference in college football in 09. It's SOS as a conference was ranked #1. It's winning percentage in non-conference games was #1. It was a strong enough conference to be awarded 10 bowl bids for the 1st time in its history.
Sounds like there must have been some good teams in the SEC this year to me, but each to our own.

First, the hiring of Gonzales and Wilkerson who will work to assist the weak link coaches ;such as, Crowton and Stud. The O-line has shown improvement since Wilkerson has been conducting drills with them. Hopefully, Gonzales will help the QB's and the passing game.I think he will influence Miles as to who is really the best QB after he has worked with them awhile. The speed of the defense and the new young talent that was seen in the spring game. I think when all the pieces are put together , LSU will have a great team and season IMO.

1) Hope I'm wrong but the running game looks average.
2) QB nothing to be said here
3) WR's average
4) Defensive backfield looks strong
5) Coaching suspect.
4-5 losses this year and LM is retaied.

Wow. The QBs played poorly on Saturday but the responses in this thread define "ranter." Hyperbolic, chicken little, nattering nabobs of negativism.
We'll go anywhere from 9-3 to unbeaten in the regular season. I'll predict 10-2 and hope for 12-0. Of course, I actually ENJOY LSU football.
