O already admitted that he wants to run the USC style spread offense and that is no way the kind of offense Canada runs. Anyone with YouTube can see that.

As long as Tiger Ree continues to get demolished, keep this thing going.

I mean I have no problem with giving O a chance but come on........ I have said 6-6 since last season was over... I hope they go 10-2 but I just don't see it... I have no problem giving Miles the boot, But to be honest I would rather have MIles than O... It just looks like a uphill battle.....

I know that someone with your level of intelligence and inside info knows that Orgeron has stated that he wants to run a USC style spread offense.

is it that you think he's a good coach?
Where have I ever said that?
Countering people who make up stuff with facts and figures or asking for backup for their "facts" that are stated is not thinking anything.
I HOPE LSU is successful. Therefore, I hope the current LSU HC is successful.
I have seen the way he is building the team from the trenches up and the hires he has made and don't see any reason why the LSU program will not be successful.
It really is not because I don't constantly cry about shite from over a decade ago or totally freak out with every move that is made - like the "experts" every time a shadow staff is added.

It's hilarious. I'm just waiting for it to come out how exactly he's related to "Eaux"

LSU was already having success based on your coach O love.
LSU was 4-5 in its last nine games under Les. LSU was celebrating a victory against Auburn the very night before Les was let go. Really, LSU players and coaches were celebrating a win over Auburn.
I can't remember what happened or why LSU would fire Les after beating an SEC foe.

9 wins under Eaux in his first year while playing over 30 freshmen with 8 starting, adding Fehoko, Giles, Shelvin, an O-line coach that has given up the fewest sacks in a season at two P5 conferences, etc = we comin !!!
That's where you said it.

I was just wondering why you were telling me this. Did you respond to the wrong post?
Just totally out of the blue you tell me about USC offense.

This made my laugh. I hope you were trying to be funny.
Agreeing with the way someone is building a team is not what you think it is, in case you ARE being serious.

you said one thing was speculation and stated the other was indeed a FACT. I was pointing out that both could very well be speculation.
Your post:
"Pure speculation on my part, but the fact that Canada didn't run the kind of offense that O wanted to run is probably a big reason why they didn't get along."
I was responding to this post by you.

Ok, so now it's you agree with the way he's building the program, not that he's a good coach or the fact that you posted that people at USC thought he was a good coach.
You're just arguing to argue now. I thoroughly enjoyed the healthy debate. Let me know when you're ready to get back to that.

To be fair, Miles was clearly on a downward trend. While I don't agree with the assessment of Miles "getting out of the way," that was the general public outcry. And Alleva and O reacted to that. O's entire sell was the "anti-Miles." Getting paid less to hire better coaches and "let them coach," was the main thrust of why he would be successful.
agreed

How was it botched. Canada accepted the position and was the LSU OC last season?
How was it botched? Really? He had autonomy to choose anyone he wanted to run his offense, and a month into the season there were already rumblings of a major rift between him and his hand picked selection. Having your coordinator’s job security continuously questioned and doing nothing to try to quell it, but rather stirring the pot even more with his comments or lack there of causing a major distraction for his team is also not a good look. Bottom line is your premiere hire only lasting one season and exiting in contentious fashion is without a doubt a botch job.

Well that makes a little sense then. But, you were replying to your post that was just quoted in my post. I only stated the part about the speculation you mentioned. It was your post that I quoted that had the part about the offense.
I was only pointing out that the part of your post that you called fact was not fact and was also speculation. Regardless of the rest of your post or what it was about.

Rumblings = rumors.

So you know what Eaux and Canada's discussions were? That is the only quelling the HC needs to do. Just because the media makes up stupid rumors does not make it the HC's job to help the idiots.

Stirring the pot by not doing anything? Okay bud, okay. He doesn't owe an explanation to anyone outside the program. If it freaks you out, so what?

Not a botched hiring anymore?

See, this where you are incorrect IMO. The only fact that I stated was that Canada doesn't run the type of offense that Orgeron wants to run. Honestly, I don't see how there is any way to dispute that.
