What exactly is hilarious about being in total control of a football game ... Taking foot off the gas, going into extreme right wing mode and allowing au to get back in the game....?
Not to mention that genius of a fake field goal call.... That did two things, took points off board for us and gave AU some enthusiasm and desire to keep going and fighting.
Hats off to those guys, they didn't quit at all... Kept grinding.
If our guys would had that attitude for 4 quarters we would have seen a 2011 Au beat down.

It just don't understand why going for jugular is a bad thing.
frick me for having this mindset I suppose.

Who are you calling 'we'? You were one of the USL douchebags ripping 'butthurt/penis envy' LSU fans in the ESPN thread.

d line will be the key IMO. especially the ends...rasco, allen, beckwith, hunter, etc. getting their hands up and batting down some balls and making it tough for murray to see down field. they will score points and move the ball. our young DB's need to get better ta finding the ball when it's in the air. not sure who i like, could see it going either way at this point. i'll say LSU 27-24

Run 3 lead dives in a row for 3 yards while defense has 9-10 guys in box on 3-4 drives with a lead = les miles play calling.

Certainly you've learned something past 8 years?
Unless of course your eyes are fricked.

I'm very concerned that UGA will light up our D. Sanford Stadium is a tough place to play. I hope we intend to play for the entire 60 minutes this time.

UGA 38
LSU 24

You realize their defense sucks as well, correct? I expect a UGA-Clemson type game.

LSU's defense has carried the offense for the last few years. Fans need to accept the fact that this year's offense will have to carry the defense. Les needs to realize this too and let Cam do his thing in Athens.

I'll be shocked if both teams don't score over 30.

Lsu definately has a legit chance of winning. UGA defense is talented at the Lb position rushing the passer, but not so good in the secondary at the CB and safety(although talented). Going to come down to which defense shows up, and which offense will be aggressive throughout. We can't have the dropped passes, fumbles in our redzone, and take our foot off the gas with a 14 point lead. Our DE had to respect Marshall's scrambling against auburn, hopefully they will be able to get after Murray more aggressively.
