sargy baby, you do realize that these are college kids, don't you? most of the team was at shady's obviously, and most of the team didn't do anything wrong except to break curfew...big deal.

Yep, and look where breaking curfew got this team.

That's a real classy approach.

Hopefully you are 15 and without kids to influence in any way.

You keep ignoring the fact that they all broke curfew.

I'm guessing 43, driving a truck with writing on the side and wearing a shirt with his name somewhere on the front.

Amazing to see so many "perfect" people on this boards that have never broken the rules.

These losers aren't perfect. They've had a hard-on for Jefferson as a player and a person for two years. Feel free to speculate on their motives, but I'm comfortable just calling them assholes. Many of them are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, and they've spent the last two years judging the looks on his face, the way he speaks, his intellect, and a bunch of other personal shite. They were probably literally praying for him to frick up so they could have a pretext to judge him as harshly as possible.

If JJ doesn't get arrested, he will start vs. Oregon.

Just pull out your roster and start from the top.

I'm really not at liberty to say, I have not been a part of any of the other threads. I have no reason to lie. But I can tell you, with 100% strike-me-dead if I am lying certainty, that they are being interviewed right now at this moment.

Sadly, I fear this may have more to do with the reaction than most people want to believe.

Its funny how people want them to drop charges just because they play football. If the truth is that they really dragged this kid out of a car and jumped him, then frick these pieces of trash. Hopefully the cops handle it the right way once the know the story

What proof do YOU have that the four being named actually did anything wrong?

Sarge,

There is a piece to this that I think you are missing.

Coach's job is much more than winning/losing football games and running a clean program.

Les is like a step-dad to these young men. They look up to him just like any son would.

Sarge, do you have any sons?

If JJ was your son and it was the 1st time he's ever screwed up, would you throw him away?

Coach can't just throw them away for 1 mistake.

Coach is responsible for helping these guys become quality young men.

This is more than just a "bar fight" or "breaking curfew" for Les.

I believe you. Probably the 4 guys involved (who I doubt are talking if present) and some of the other guys who were witnesses. Now, what's interesting is if these guys--who aren't represented and aren't in any danger of arrest--will willingly speak against their teammates. I wonder if Les told them all to not lie, no matter the consequences.

I love how you morons are saying this like it was only these 4 breaking curfew. You only know about the ones at Shady's. Word is they were out all over the place Thursday night. Fred's was packed with a bunch of players too.

The only solution is to forfeit the UO game and/or the entire season.
