Starts at 37:00. These gambling "experts" don't seem to be giving JD a chance and can't be convinced otherwise.

You gotta think that Daniels is going to get more 3rd place votes than Nix unfortunately. Everyone ignoring the record and voting on individual performance is putting Daniels 1st. But if you care about team record so much that you're voting Nix first then there's no logical reason that they will have Daniels ahead of Pennix either.

I just looked up what the odds were in 2018 because I think that was probably the closest one in recent memory.

quote:

Less than 24 hours before the 2018 Heisman Trophy ceremony, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray is favored to take home the award.

Per Scott Hastings of OddsShark.com, Murray is listed as a -190 favorite (bet $190 to win $100) over Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa (+150) and Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins (+6000).

This is a huge swing in Murray's direction following last week's conference championship games. Tagovailoa was a -500 favorite heading into the SEC Championship against Georgia. The Crimson Tide star had his worst game of the year, going just 10-of-25 for 164 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.

Tagovailoa and Murray split top honors at the 2018 College Football Awards on Thursday. The Crimson Tide signal-caller won the Maxwell Award as the player of the year. The Sooners star won the Davey O'Brien Award as the nation's top quarterback.

It is more likely that he is put 3rd out of spite so that Nix has a better shot at winning. Southern regional voters could do the same to Nix, and that is a flaw in the voting system. If record is the most important factor, then shouldn't Penix get the nod over Nix from West coast voters since he won the h2h and has an undefeated team?

Stucky never sleeps and is always drunk and Collin claims a LSU fan threw a battery at him in BR so there you go.

I’m really starting to think it’s just click bait now. They have to keep it suspenseful so people will tune in.

Look, no one here wants to admit it, but JD has a very small chance of winning the Heisman. I’m just happy he is going to NYC and I guarantee he’ll be smiling just as widely if Bo Nix wins than if he does. But I don’t see JD winning because the Heisman is a load of BS. I could understand if we had 6 losses but c’mon.

This website needs to prepare itself for Jayden to get screwed out of the award because it’s going to happen.

I understand setting your expectations so as to not be disappointed, but this is just incorrect... He has a damn good Chance to win the Heisman. At this point it’s probably 50-50, pending Oregon’s game Friday night. It will be a very close vote.

He has almost zero chance . The only chance he has is if nix is terrible against Washington which is unlikely. The voters get to watch him play and will have forgotten about Daniels by the time they vote. They’re simple minded

Don’t know what to tell you, and I promise I’m not trying to be condescending, but that is absolutely incorrect.

The Heisman is 100% up in the air right now between Nix and Daniels. It’ll depend on the votes and obviously how Nix does against Washington.

A lot of voters will turn in their ballot before Friday, FWIW.

Hate to say it but if Nix goes 3td/1int and Oregon wins, he wins the Heisman.
