But with equal records against pretty much the same competition, you have to look at the head to head matchup and Arkansas clearly won the game
You can't just say because team A beat team B in team A's house, team A is obviously better. Home field advantage DOES play a factor. The only true way to determine superiority is a neutral field.
You can't downplay the advantage the home team's offensive and defensive line get in a hostile environment.

Arky beat us fair and square. And I'd say they dominated the second half.
Lucky for us, that's not the criteria the BCS bowls have to use in selecting a team to play in their bowl

LSU would bring more money to nawlins...FACT
Please explain how..Arkansas would have to travel, and stay in hotels, and eat out at resturants whereas if LSU goes most fans live here, and would not have to get a hotel, or eat out cause they have their houses to go to. Razorbacks fans would bring more money to New Orleans because our fans travel very well.

It took 7 pages for someone to put some common sense into this thread.

Razor- because tigers fan would want a hotel room for two weeks. One week before to party and one week after to party. Plus we would buy more tickets.

For some reason I don't think you were spouting this when LSU beat Arkansas by 3 at home last season. LSU was the better team last year because when it came time to prove it, they did. Yeah, Arkansas had a disadvantage playing on an away field, but every team must overcome that a few times each season and no respectable coach or team will say the other team won just because of the home field.
After we drove basically the entire field in the 4th quarter and kicked a field goal to go up two scores, the game was pretty much over. LSU had a chance to stop us, but we dominated the line of scrimmage and put the nail in the coffin. The crowd had nothing to do with that.

Hog- if you don't go to a bowl the year before no complaining. Also we were up 31-3 at half of that game. If our d and o don't collapse we don't have to go into ot

If you watched that game, you would know that the ref's screwed Arkansas to the tune of 14 points at least. (Auburn fumbled on goaline, we recoverd, they ruled Auburn TD. In the 2nd half, they ruled we fumbled when our guy was down and Auburn scooped and scored).
