How do you not understand sugar doesn't care. Whatever they feel gives the most money is what they will do

Fox Sports projects LSU to Outback vs Iowa, S. Carolina vs Mich St in Cap 1, and TAM vs. Alabama in Cotton. Worst case for LSU, IMO.

no it wasn't..auburn had to beat usc...which they did...but there's still a 5-10% chance sugar takes LSU...LSU would bring more money to nawlins...FACT

Would it be allowed? Sure is. Anyone in the top 12 is fair game. Kinda like cap1 is set to pass on LSU for bama. We beat them and technically it has a higher payout, but they're still taking bama.
Wouldn't surprise me (it would) but I mean Louisiana does subsidize that game with our tax dollars.

The Sugar Bowl Committee can pick ANY SEC Team in the BCS top 14, they are not bound by CBS programming hype.

Lsu would sell more tickets and almost as many hotels for partying. Lsu and Arkansas have the same record both in top 14 in bcs. Sugar is only after themselves and how much money they can make off the game. You are naive if you don't know this or in denial. Only rule sugar has must take the sec champs if available if unavailable team they take must be in top 14 in the bcs final standings

It's not like LSU has a better record either. We have equal records, but we beat you on the field, therefore we are the second best team in the conference and are headed to Sugar Bowl. Can't believe that still needs repeating.

My buddy has connections with some on the sugar bowl committee and he asked about LSU being in the sugar. The committee member said both teams are going to be wearing red

If that's true, that doesn't necessarily mean Arkansas is the team (Stanford and Ohio St. could get picked). I still believe it's us though.

NOBODY DISAGREES THAT ARKANSAS IS BETTER
The Sugar Bowl DOES NOT have to take Arkansas.
Should they? Yes
Will they? probably
They are under 0 obligation to take Arkansas though

That's a contributing factor, not a determining factor for the Sugar Bowl's decision. I'm sure Arky gets to go the Sugar, but they can still take whomever they want ETA whomever they want according to the BCS rules

Did ya'll ever think that they are asking for the announcement to be held off b/c if they announce that LSU vs A&M to Cotton, then one of the mysteries of who will be going to Sugar would be gone because that would all but assure that Arky was an atlarge pick.

Hog- all you have to do is win the sec and you are assured of a bcs bowl. Don't get cranky just because there's a chance lsu gets the sugar bowl. Not likely I'll admit it but is a chance
