Can this guy score 20 in a game this season (like against the not so good teams)

Epps to me will be a key player this upcoming season. We really need him to step up big time. Him and Robinson. If they can this team might end up being pretty special.

Has plenty of potential, but probably won't be featured enough to score 20 in a game for this season

I'm still trying to figure out how the team will look like. With Ben Simmons may be handling the point most of the time (he considered himself as a point-forward), will the team start with 3 guards in Hornsby Quarterman, Blakeney plus a center/forward? This last spot is probably the weakest, considering the big men we have. Malone is the most experienced but didn't show much last season. Epps and Robinson are inexperienced and may not be ready as regular starters. Victor is hopefully the answer eventually.

Agreed. Epps is more of a wing while Robinson and Malone are clearly post players. If those guys, along with Bridgewater, can average, say, 12 points and 15 boards per game collectively, the other 7 guys should be able to average roughly 70 points and 25 boards. This team looks to have the makings of an 80 ppg, 40 rpg team that will play great defense. That formula would result in a lot of wins obviously.

Based on rudy macklins review of the team, we should be really good and our post problems likely aren't as bad as we thought. I'm thinking Epps and Robinson and potentially Malone have made major strides since last year.

For too long LSU couldn't score outside of the paint. That changed a bit last year. If the jump shots improve, this team could be good.

Lets just hope the inside stays strong, despite all the departures.

He def has the most upside of all the bench players from last year. I'm hoping he gets 15-20 mins and can average 8-10 ppg.

I agree Nissan. I think Epps has good upside. In fact I think he had some good moments late in the season last year and IMHO earned more PT than he got.

But I think what we really need even more is some inside presence Re: a rebounder and rim defender. Not sure if Epps is the guy to give us that, but I think he will contribute.

Epps has potential and his injury didn't help last year. Epps and Victor I think are the key unknowns for a serious run. Elbert, Darcy, and Bridgewater may improve but their ceilings are not as high in my opinion and their body types don't fit as well into run and press which I think JJ prefers.
