I'm hearing grumblings that are pointing to LSU to the Cotton. Could be announced publicly as soon as Friday, but more than likely after SEC title game on Saturday night.

Deal has been done from what I hear.

Looks like the Aggies are already buying tickets through the Cotton Bowl website.

I've heard that each school only gets about 15,000 tickets to sell. If the Aggies buy up all of the general admission seats, LSU fans will be hugely outnumbered.

We can't get too mad at the Aggies, this is the first time they are halfway decent in over a decade.

I've got my ticket in the Aggie section if this comes to fruition.

Sad, but true.

Not sad. Just True. I'm thinking a good 70-30 split.

Just for the hell of it I went to the Cotton Bowl website. When I tried to select tickets available, all that comes up are seats on the Big XII side.

I don't like being outnumbered at a true "neutral site" game, but I actually love it when LSU is outnumbered in the home state of an opponent ... i.e. Georgia in the Georgia Dome.

It seems like the LSU crowd is livelier and louder when we are in that kind of setting and outnumbered.

So if LSU does play A&M in the Cotton, how much impact will the outcome have on Mettenberger's decision? Didn't he visit A&M as well?

He'll decide long before then. He might regret it after watching the game though.

Maybe so. But it's gonna suck when the place is 3/4 filled with Aggies.

LSU will be lucky to have 20K in the building.
