FACT: bama's schedule last year was easier than LSU, this year was easier and next year will be easier path to the MNC than LSU.

LSU last season had basically the most difficult schedule of all time..

maybe if Miles didn't sit on a shite lead as usual and played to win instead of not to lose LSU would be sitting pretty right now?

Probably.

LSU fans have no reason to bitch this year.

LSU has two awesome losses while Bama just has one awesome loss. By last years standard, LSU is having a better year.

tell me, how many losses would LSU have right now if we played at Mizzou, at Tenn, at Kentucky or at Vandy instead of at Florida?

Not our fault you couldn't take care of business against Florida. You probably would've lost at Tennessee at that point in the season. You could barely beat auburn.

Sure, if you want to consider Florida an "awesome" loss.

At least you recognize that LSU has played twice the amount of top-10 teams that Alabama has.. and that 6 of our 12 games have been against top-25 opponents. Florida is more deserving of a BCSCG bid than Alabama is.. and there is really no argument to counter it. Unless we go back to the absurd "eye ball" test.. but the eye ball test says that Alabama is 3rd best in the SEC-west.

Yep, some of our fans are embarrassing. LSU didn't do it on the field so they bitch about Bama.

no

Why should LSU's path to an MNC be any harder than bama or anyone else's for that matter?

its not about what we did or didn't do on the field...I already acknowledged we didn't get it done so we have no one to blame but ourselves

but that doesn't make the scheduling any less frustrating

Bama has had an easier road than us two years in a row, and will have an easier road next year

Florida also got the short end of the stick this year with Georgia having an easier path

Sure there is. Florida opened their season against Bowling Green. Alabama opened their season against Michigan. They've played the same number of ranked teams as Alabama. They didn't travel to a top 10 away opponent and win. Alabama did.

Wrong again. You seem to be wrong often. Florida beat top-10 A&M @ A&M and will have as many top-10 wins (provided they beat FSU) as Alabama will have games played vs top-25 opponents. Why are you counting Miss St as a ranked opponent? They are unranked currently.

I don't really expect a well thought out response from you.

What bothers me most is that when other teams lose, they automatically drop 5-6 spots. No one gives them a second thought. Alabama loses, the media spits out excuse after excuse as why they lost and they drop just 2-3 spots. Keeps them in position to get back.

We'll see what happens with Oregon.. Alabama lost at home to A&M and dropped.. 3 spots? Oregon lost at home in OT to a similarly ranked team.. and we'll see how far they drop.
