If you get 2022 or 2012 Bama energy, you'll be in for a treat. Those were both great nights.

I am fortunate enough to say at was at both of these!

I believe it's a little trashy, but I bet the students would stay if they guaranteed Neck would be played at some point every 4th quarter.

That is pretty bad not gonna lie

I think that was the best atmosphere for an LSU/Ole Miss game in Tiger Stadium I've ever been to. It was relentlessly loud all game long and deafening at times. I swear that you could practically feel the hate raining down from the LSU fans.

I said this in another thread, but definitely the loudest I’ve ever heard Tiger Stadium was the last play of that game. You couldn’t even hear your thoughts, it was just loud.

For it to be at it's best, Tiger Stadium needs three things and a night game isn't one of them

1: The game has to be close in the 4th quarter
2: The game has to mean something; meaning, something meaningful is on the line
3: It has to be a game LSU fans legitimately think they can lose walking into the stadium

If this game is close in the 4th, the environment should be quite electric

Correct, and to this point, the defense has to control the pace for this to be the case. The crowd can never find itself in a shootout. You have to get stops or at minimum redzone stops that lead to FGs not TDs and let the crowd feel like they were a part of getting that stop.

22 Bama is a good example. Bama drives right down the field through the teeth of the noise on the opening possession only to throw a pick in the endzone that revived the fans, made them feel like they were a part of the game, and kept the energy all night. Then a few series later, Perkins sacks Bryce Young after what looked like surefire TD to only give up a FG. Those are the plays you need from the D that fuel the crowd and vice versa.

I got last minute tickets to that game and the only person available to go last minute was a buddy of mine that never even had a real interest in sports. After being in that atmosphere he is now one of the biggest LSU fanatics you will ever meet. Still one of my fondest LSU memories. Dude was going nuts right beside me all game long. That place is so special.

It’s sad that pleas are needed to fill a stadium and keep it full.

I agree, but I always thought it was uncouth gutterlike behavior, and was embarrassing for my alma mater. I still think so. Let's grow up a bit and stop this nonsense.
