Defense wins games, and the better defensive line is the reason a team gets a win 80% of the time. Appy State is way over matched.

The worst case is 9 and 3. Best case 10 and 2 with luck against us.

Offense will play within their capabilities, smash mouth football.

I enter the season always thinking the best. It's what makes a Tiger fan a Tiger fan. We don't look forward to any season with the prospect of mediocrity. We think of winning. We BELIEVE in winning. I think, in fact, that is what the difference is between the Miles era and the Saban era: our players now have the confidence that they can win, whereas before there was still much doubt.

IMHO the Auburn game will shape the whole season: if we win, sky is the limit, if we lose all is not lost we're behind the 8 ball fighting up-hill the rest of the year, or at least through all of October.
