Every single big opportunity that Kelly’s teams have to save their season or keep playoffs hopes alive they absolutely choke. It’s something built into the culture of his teams. He has not surprised us one single time in his tenure with a chance on the big stage. It’s fricking clockwork.

2022 - Chance to finish regular season 10-2. Demolished by 5-7 A&M in prime time.
2023 - Chance to keep SEC west hopes alive and make the conference championship. Blown out by Alabama in prime time
2024 - Serious Chance to keep 12-team playoff hopes alive late in the year. They get absolutely physically abused for 3 games straight against A&M, Bama, and UF.
2025 - Chance to keep playoff hopes alive. Demolished in prime time by A&M.

Regardless of their flaws, all 3 of our previous coaches had teams that fought with their back to the wall. They didn’t always win, but when it was crunch time they put up a hell of fight even when outmatched talent wise.

Kelly builds the most weak minded teams we have seen over the last 25 years at LSU. They don’t even fight until all of their preseason goals are gone. Our problems start with culture. Kelly builds the softest teams I have ever seen.

I think it is because they have no desire to play for "him". that is one thing that O had going for him, I think. kelly is a fraud and my ND friends told me just that when he was hired.
