A reality check to actual LSU fans

I originally figured LSU would have at worst a 6 loss season. Do some of you not comprehend the level of play compared with experience? Yes, Jennings and the coaching staff has gone full retard a few times this year, but I just want to know where your check is if you have all the right answers.
first time had rhythm, our freshman RB played lights out, and we won a final game. Yes, there have been questionable decisions by our coachi
ng but what does your football fanhood IQ regarding LSU say? In a down year, you do what you can. And to the people still not comprehend younger SEC quarterback play, please let me know when LSU takes your message board knowledge and pays you. This is considered a rebuilding year and we were a few plays away from beating the top teams in the nation. If some of you aret no lost or newly spoiled fans, the politely frick off.
PS... Did you see that LF run??

The reality is we have just as many if not more legitimate questions about the QB position going into 2015 than we did in 2014.
Based on intangibles, you have to have a QB who can dig you out of 2-3 games a year. I have seen nothing to support AJ can do that.

I agree with you (although didn't think we would lose 6 games). It is a shame that some on this site have no clue as to what the hell goes on when a team replaced so many from last year...depressing really when you think about it

Next year will be a good year for LSU football. This years team was too young to compete for a NC. I'm rather see this team have the year they have to motivate them for next year then to have a 2 loss team. 4 or 5 loses is way much better going into next year for motivating each player to work his butt off in the off season.

With next years schedule and talent anything over two losses is a letdown

We are young but you cannot overlook the glaring lack of decision making by CLM
We have talent but so do other teams.
We have a young QB- two of them . And while other teams develop their QB's we don't
Not playing Brandon more this year is going to hurt position recruiting in the future.
OP needs a reality check if he believes the smoke screen CLM speak

Reality. This was a win, in that LSU did not lose. It was a win statistically and there were moments of offensive shock and awe. But there were also too many times when the offense seemed to devolve into the now familiar patterns of futility - wasted downs, dumb penalties and the like. One of the TV guys commented that the best defense against LSU was LSU. Joking but he made his point. I don't think young team/players is a viable excuse anymore. Not in the last game of the season. Hanging on for dear life as the game clock ticks down has become almost a way of life at LSU under this HC. With all this talent I just have to ask "why?" If that late offsides call had been made, the game outcome might have been very different. We played well mostly. But CLM just seems allergic to letting his hosses loose and letting them score.

This ^ is the problem. By the way, Bama is younger still than LSU. A lot of it comes down to coaching. I'd say CLM is vastly under-performing. You guys know it too.

I know it's the same old song and dance but yes we have underperformed. Bama lost a loat of talent over the last two years and it barely slowed them down. They were a MNC contender until the very last snap of the regular season.
I'm happy that Les decided to spread the ball out last night. It was really eye opening and you have to wounder what a spread offense with this defense could accomplish. Jennings looked more comfortable for the most part and the running game was there (Hello LF!).
The talent is there, CLM just seems to be handcuffing it pretty hard.

Id say bama is underperforming with 2 sec titles in 15 years. Only a gump would think bama is younger than lsu.

He is a dumbass gump. Lsu is, by far, younger than bama.

In a down year we're still better than Ole Miss and Aggy. I can DWI
Posted on 11/28/14 at 7:23 am to Ed Osteen
Add to that the level of play the 3 rookies from LSU are doing just shows how good they were. It's really hard to replace that much talent right away.
Posted on 11/28/14 at 7:26 am to Ed Osteen
Agree. Preseason I though 3-4 losses. That's right where we ended the regular season. Hopefully with a bowl victory we get to 9 wins. Considering the inexperience and the schedule, LSU had a good year. Can't wait for next year!

Yeah, that's it Miles hates to score points! Thanks for the brilliant insight Jawja Tigah!
