Jefferson wasn't as comfortable as I hoped, but there was real improvement in areas that I hoped would show it, like the offensive line. We have real play-makers all over the field. We need better organization on the sidelines. If Jefferson cant improve his focus, we may still have instability behind the offensive line. Overall, hopefull. With a strong offseason they can be very strong this year.

Finally.

I was tired of looking at all those FAKE looks at the spring game.

Yeah, I'm gonna take the staff at its word and figure they were actually thinking more about the run game. Hard to argue after last season that we don't need the focus there.

"Fans" may have wanted to see JJ throw a bunch of touchdowns to make themselves feel better, but focusing the "game" on what the coaches think they need to focus on is a good sign.

And poor J Lee - a Pick 6 in your Spring Game with his history? Oof.

Craig Loston looked huge. Didnt think he was that big. And i love the stiff arm Ford put on Baker or Hatcher for a 20 so yard run. Geaux Tigers!

The spring game is pretty much a scripted exercise and damn near useless for trying to guage next year. It's just a gimmick to give the kids and fans something at the end of spring practice. Anybody who thinks different is a fool.

Loved what I saw from Loston. Jones' departure is one of the most concerning things going in to 2010, but seeing him out there yesterday made me feel a little better about it.

Also liked what I saw of Ford. Clearly the staff is wanting to see how much they'll be able to rely on him in the fall.
