I don't know how you acted in college.... But when I attended in 2011-2016 I had to keep my act together when I went home for breaks.

Is this real life for kids these days? I think I spent the entire winter break working as a waiter, drinking and chasing women. Those were some of the best times because there was no need to waste time studying. Yeah the bars were slow and the pickens were slim but that's when you learned to bring your A game. For basketball games during the break we would pregame for hours before at our apartment. We would have friends from other schools, SLU and McNeese, that we would sneak into the games with us. I will never forgot coming home from that UConn game in 2007 and seeing that we were partying so hard beforehand that we forgot to shut the front door when we left. Our roommate's dog was just chilling on the couch with the door wide open because she knew she wasn't supposed to go outside without one of us.

I honestly feel sorry for you man. You are missing some of the best times of college.

Houston packed their place against us. It's a shame we can't get students to get rowdy unless the basketball team is playing a top 10 opponent.

There is no “student section” during Christmas break. LSU sells those tickets to the general public during the break. Students have told me it’s a hassle being told to move 3-4 times by people who have reserved tickets in what is normally the student section. I don’t blame the students for not showing up.

I don’t know the answer, but call Joe Alleva’s Athletic Department, if you can get someone to answer the phone. I’ve called the entire staff directory and got a voicemail every fricking time.

You want students to Uber an hour and half to the game and an hour and half back? Man how much money did you have while you were in college. In case you didn’t know school is expensive as hell and most of your students can’t afford this.

School is a ghost town and the ones left probably have no clue what basketball is, don’t care, or are working

Most people these days have internships or jobs to uphold during the break. They also have family to please in order for them to continue attending school. You clearly don’t understand the modern student

Houston also is a continually ranked team riding a crazy how winning streak. They also don’t get good opponents that often given their conference

At least I’m not advocating for kids to drink and drive so the stadium is loud. It’s an organization issue. Not the students fault. Quit crying about your lawn grandpa

As a student it sucked going to games because we had THE WORST SEATS IN THE HOUSE.

Allen Fieldhouse says hi. Students camp out the night before for the “worst seats in the house” regardless of opponent.

Not saying I’m against exploring the relocation of our students, however not a valid excuse.

Allen fieldhouse is one of the greatest and most historic venues in mbb. Not really fair to compare LSU and the pmac to Kansas and Allen fieldhouse. Nice try

no, it's an excuse just like

-have to get to Tigerland in time for free drinks
-studying for finals
-stormy weather
-seats behind the goal
-bad opponent
-home for Christmas break

if the students that live in BR metro area came, the student section would be packed

Kansas' student section was berzerk saturday, as was memphis'. both schools are on break. try again

Most of the students who live in the br metro are in other parts of the world vacationing of visiting family like most students on break. Either that or they are working.
