That made me laugh! I can remember sneaking a peek at my neighbors Tiger Rag early in the morning if mine hadn't arrived yet.
I remember back in the day at a job I use to have that one of my co-workers use to get Tiger Rag and give it to me a week or so after he finished with it. I could not wait for him to finish it.

Internet = too much information.
It ruins the anticipation of the game itself. All the www hoopla detracts from the game itself.
Much, much better experience before internet. Crowds were more intense and focused on the game back in the day... Now it's more of a social gathering.

more fun and less stressful. nowadays it ruins some folks' week if LSU loses a game. Remember, it's just a game for entertainment. But at the current price point to attend LSU entertainment I can see why people let it ruin their week if LSU loses. A rate of return issue, I guess.

Pre-internet, the games were a blast, but there wasn't much going on during the week.
Now I get entertained all through the week by lame comments, jokes, speculation, bizarre rumors and other esoteric data. The internet has made every sport a year-round event, if only in the minds of ranters.
