Thanks, I've mostly been reading on here and other boards to learn about this year's LSU team. I think it has promise. Many Buckeye fans like me would would not be surprised to see a game later this year between OSU and LSU, although a lot of things would have to go right for that to happen.

I am a Buckeye, mostly lurker here. I believe after about 3 or 4 games, the people here will be very pleased with Joe. Either way, 3-4 games into the season, I will stop by and accept kudos or brickbats for my prediction.
Will add that there are many positives to Joe. However, the biggest is his ability to throw timing passes. Way, way better in that respect than Barrett. Of course, he is generally accurate and a pretty good runner.

Just curious as to why Herman didn't go after Burrow at Texas.,

I don't know the Texas QB situation that well, but I'm guessing Herman was satisfied with Ehlinger and already had a full QB room so didn't feel the need to go after Burrow.
