I'm 59

I still remember my 12 year old arse playing in finals of all star game playing second base...tied late, man on third, 1 out. Ball hit to me, I'm looking at runner on third, not the ball. Will never forget that play...47 years later. Lol

I don’t feel bad for the fans, but anyone who’s been in that position knows how tough it is—when you pour everything into something and it still doesn’t go your way. It hits even harder for those of us with kids, seeing how they process that kind of heartbreak. I really felt for their players. It reminded me of last year when Jake Brown took so much heat for not making that catch. I thought his comment about their left fielder after the game was incredibly classy and showed a lot of maturity.

frick Arky

The only time I feel bad for the ball players is when it’s senior who’s played for his university for 4 years and probably isn’t going pro. They just played the last baseball game of their life and that kinda sucks

I can't revel in this Arkansas loss. I respect their team and players. They play the game right. I'm just going to celebrate the LSU win.

I don't know how you can take enjoyment from that picture. Davalan plays hard and does everything right and that will haunt him forever. Just enjoy the LSU victory.

I couldn’t help but feel bad for them after the game.
Not to the point I wish we would have lost, but a little.

As an LSU fan, I remember 1987 through 1990. Just some heartbreaking moments before LSU baseball broke through. I’m super happy LSU won, but I know it’s tough on those kids. No shame in having emotion and they should be proud of how far they went this year.
