This team has the talent. Just not ready to play the big boys yet. Funny how we blew out the sub par teams this year when we couldn't do it with a competitive team in the past. Patience grasshoppers... it will happen..

EXCELLENT recruiting has not been here since 2011.

ExperiencedO/L subpar performance - check(I guess there goes the "young" argument)
Zero history of player development - check
Zero history of adjustment ability - check
History of bonehead time management - check
stubbornness issues detrimental to team - check
Don't expect any better next year

A top notch nationally ranked spread offense QB - Miles put's 'em running a 1970's power run - ie putting a square peg in a round hole. Jennings is the same situation

Delusional rantards forgetting that LSU puts more players in the NFL than anyone else - check.

They were great players as freshmen and didn't need to improve much, just wait for the right time.

Quit with the F*ing money analogy. He makes bank because he won a title. Hell, he isn't even the 2nd highest paid coach in the conference. If your $2500 a year is such a burden-- give up your tickets. I do believe the line wanting them is long.

A non-championship season? Sure.
Losing to MSU's best team in decades, and a very good AU team on the road? Tough to swallow, but reasonable.
Looking like you absolutely don't belong on the same field as MSU and AU? Sorry, I can't go that far.
The "youth" excuse only goes so far. The OL is far from young and inexperience, yet they have been the worst group on the offensive side of the ball
To the contrary, the WRs might be the most inexperienced group, yet they have looked like the best group on offense.
On defense the DTs are young, but it's not unreasonable to expect that at least one of the 5 or 6 LSU brought in 2 years ago would be an impact player. They haven't. Hell, 2 of the guys can barely see the field on one the worst LSU DLs in the last 20 years. The DEs are experienced, and though Hunter had a decent game against AU, their careers have largely been unremarkable.
IIRC LSU brought in 6 LBs three years ago. So far, Alexander is the only one of those 6 to make even the slightest of impacts.

Look, I understand we'll have an occasional down year. It happens, and we can all accept it. But this year, we're not just a little down, we look absolutely terrible and unprepared. And THAT is not acceptable.
finally, the truth is said
we are getting about $2MM of the $4MM we pay..
no effort, no responsibility

I'd say we're getting about three quarters of the $4MM. Just like the number of quarters many Tiger fans stay for the games.
