Will always wonder what the hell he did before and during 1/9/12. Like it or not, his legacy is shitting the bed in what would have been the cherry on top of LSU's best season ever.

O will actually hold an impressive legacy of being the worst coach in the history of two SEC schools: Ole Miss and LSU.

A move that LSU made that I will never understand.Les was a good coach and an outstanding person.Coach O will be okay but he will never be a Les Miles.

I dont like where we are headed with O, but I am glad we moved on from Les. Appreciative for what he did at LSU but glad we moved on.

Les could still be here had he done two things:
1) Hired a Offensive cord that could run a spread/ tutor a QB
2) Stayed away from the offense

Could have Been a Legend! with the talent LSU had under him.
Now look where we are

Stumbled, mumbled his way into success. Saban was that good, set up Les' success with all he did for LSU in the time he was here.

It was time and everyone knew it.
His gig was up and he had LSU trending downwards.

I would say being the 2nd winningest coach in LSU history, national champion, 2 time SEC champion, debacle with Michigan, 2007 Florida game, bobby Petrino telling him to frick himself and refuse to shake his hand and the grass eating pushes him into legendary status

I have to disagree but Les even with all those accolades will forever be the guy that had a ton of talent and couldnt win with it. 2007 NC will be he won it with Sabans players. If he would have did it in 2011 most would say legendary but to lose that game the way he did nope not legendary. Today on sports talk radio,in jax, there was a question who has produced the most NFL 1st & 2nd rounders since 2009. Alabama was first all 3 of the guys guessed LSU was second but the first thing they said when the said LSU was Tons of talent but nothing to show for it. Thats how Les will be remembered.

And he shot the bird to the LSU nation by refusing to adapt.

Love Les. My first semester was when Miles was hired. What a time to be a student at LSU.

That said, it was a good decision to part ways with him when we did. Ideally, it should have been done after the prior season. It looks so much worse in hindsight because of Joe "I am the search" Alleva, but it was the right thing to do.
