isn't that where they have the crawfish boiled/live

Starting at four on Wednesdays. I believe they make all their food fresh as well, whereas Cajun Steamer just re-heats frozen food.

I highly recommend Salvatores (one on 31 and one on 280). Another great Itallian place is Leonardos on Rocky Ridge Road in Hoover. There is also a place on hwy 150 on the other side of 459 from Regions called Jubilee Joes. They apparently serve Cajun Food. I have not tried it, but some seem to like it. It is about 4 miles from the park.

IMHO the BBQ they rave about here (Full Moon, Jim and Nicks, Etc.) is just too sweet.

Also, Family fun wise Oak Mountain State park is like 10 minutes from Hoover.

Not sure about the club scene here as I am old and married.

It is AWESOME seeing you guys around here!

We always get coupons in the mail for them, but I've never tried it. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever paid attention to where it is.

Dreamland, IMO is overrated, but I prefer sweet BBQ.

I highly recommend Jubilee Joe's. It's my family's favorite place to eat in town.

We ate Jubliee Joe's when we were in town for the tournament last year and my son has already said that he wants to go again this year. Pretty laid back and the food was good.

and a brisket sandwich with a coke (no fries) will only set you back $10 plus tip.

Good list...but for my money the best hamburger in town is at Hamburger heaven on Crestwood. Also, for those who like Greek or Middle Eastern I would throw in Nabeels in Homewood on Oxmoor and Taziki's off 459 at Liberty Park
