A full shot clock, with a lead, and Waters tries a half court alley oop.

If it had worked we’d have had the last possession. Couldn’t put it out of reach that trip. Still very frustrating. Would have preferred smarter selection

For such a hard fought game to come down to a giveaway like that! A TO with specific instructions may have helped. The play should have been for Smart to drive to the basket since he makes his free throws easily. Oh well!

I agree.

I like the idea of trying to get the last possession by going with a quick shot there I just don't like the shot selection. An alley-oop wasn't the right Choice. The officials are calling fouls everywhere so you drive to the basket there and try to go up two or three. Then Arkansas has to make a shot, possibly a 3, and get a stop on the other end on defense.

Previous possession was just as bad...throwing up a 3 a 2 puts you up 3. Not to mention that driving the lane and drawing fouls is why we were even in the game to begin with . Weird to abandon it there

Worst decision I can remember in a spot like that. Then they come down the guy walks and the ref misses the 15th call of the half
