Last year was exceptional, and O deserves all the credit in the world for getting out of the way and letting coaches coach and players shine.

The likes of Kirby, Herman, and Jimbo would absolutely have effed that up last year. They can’t get out of their own way.

This year is what happens when our program needs a *coach* and not a cheerleader. These are the results, made worse by a mass exodus.

O was right for the moment last year and awful for it now. Double edged sword, and LSU needs a program builder at the helm, not this.

ok so you are saying a guy who has been in coaching for what 35 yrs can't coach? let's assume that is true...what are the assistants doing? so should the blame be on the position coaches or the HC?

Coach O is basically a cheerleader if you look at the games he's never in the huddle all he does is clap and that's it

O deserves as much credit for last year as he deserves blame for this year.

Whether you think he deserves all the credit or none of the credit or wherever you fall in between it has to be equal because his hands are all over both of them coming to fruition.

I believe he deserves most of the credit in the for what happened last season. He also deserves most of the blame for what is happening this season.

Coaching - at it's core- is teaching a skill. I think O can do that. Managing a program, a locker room and a roster is another ball game altogether. O let the success get to his head and failed as a leader and program manager. This is the result.
