While I agree with you to extent, you're not paying attention to the recruiting class LSU is assembling. If it finishes as expected it has to be the most athletic class LSU has signed in a very long time
They will be slightly better than average and then blow up in the NFL. That is the LSU way!

Then don't fricking watch if that's how you feel you whiny bitch
Most of us are freaking tired of wasted talent at LSU that blows up in the NFL and we are tired of 3-5 losses a season and losing records in the November!!!

Would be a huge turnaround from where the program was just weeks ago and a great way to set up the 2016 season
How dare you come to a LSU fan board and express optimism toward an LSU sport. That sort of behavior will get you severely trashed and down voted.
Only pissers, moaners, doom day advocators, and other sad sack negative turds are allowed.

I'd really love to know what your point of reference is that you're bitching about 10-3 seasons. LSU has 7 seasons since Gerry DiNardo "brought back the magic" in 1996 of finishing with 2 losses or fewer. 5 of them have come during Les Miles's tenure.
And that's the Golden Age of LSU football.

I'm happy about a good recruiting class and all, but I've become pretty much numb to it. Every year LSU seems to pull a good to great class with lots of fanfare
In 11 cycles Les has only had back to back top 5 classes once. This could be the 3rd in a row. No head coach has ever recruited at this rate at LSU.
This is setting up to be better than 09-11 and those guys led to the best regular season in the history of the program.

Who is blowing up in the NFL that weren't solid to great players at LSU? Y'all can't name a single one.

We're also doing a much better job at addressing team needs. Got some real studs in the front seven and have some huge prospects still waiting to make their commitment.

So you guys are ok with losing 3-4 games a year?
What's wrong with demanding more on the field when we are given elite talent, the top paid coaching staff and the best facilities in the country?
And don't give me the "you don't know how bad it used to be" crap. We had none of the above 20 years ago. The landscape changed when Saban got here when the AD made a commitment to achieving great heights.

Im excited. And considering this staff had the rug pulled out from under them, this could be their best cycle yet, not just from the final ranking, but also keeping the class together with all the noise on the perimeter.

LSU is not given talent, LSU doesnt have the highest paid staff, and LSU doesnt have the best facilities.
And your AD is Joseph "the snake" Alleva. You guys keep saying stop living in the past, well saban has been gone for 11 years, he and Emmert are never coming back. Stop living in the past, the current clowns in charge will be the reason LSU becomes mediocre.

News flash: Joe Alleva is not Mark Emmert. You have an inflated sense of where LSU ranks among its peers in what it invests in the football program.

Danielle Hunter has 6 sacks as a rookie (2nd most for a rookie) and I believe had 4 his whole career at LSU.

If they can rebound from losing Franks by securing Haskins, I'll be ecstatic with this class.

in 13 nfl games he has played in he has 32 tackles and 6 sacks.
In 13 games at LSU he had 73 tackles 1.5 sacks and 6 pass defended.
Ok so is he really blowing up? i mean he has better sack numbers, but every single other stat is way below what he had at LSU.

LSU is not given talent
You just got finished gawking at the last 3 recruiting classes 3 posts ago.
You can't say LSU has brought talent to campus in one post then say LSU doesn't get talented players in another post.

So this adds up to:
-getting smoked by Arkansas two years in a row
-getting embarrassed by Ole Miss when you are rumored to be "coaching for your job"
-losing to your biggest rival 5 straight years
-being dead last in the country in any statistical category
-having your elite offensive talent muted by poor QB play year in and year out
