Whether Woodward is overrated or not, what does that have to do with Alleva?

A simple reminder to those that think Alleva was bad, look no further than where we are now.

Don’t forget he hired Jimbo Fisher as well. How’s that working out for atm?

Woodward’s strength seems to be throwing money at whatever is perceived as a weakness or problem. Saddled aTm with Jimbo’s millions and has quickly done the same to LSU on multiple fronts.

He can do that because he creates strong relationships with donors and knows who to go to for each sport when the time comes.

No one wanted to give their money to Joe Alleva

Pays for itself many times over if you make the right hires. Which I think Woodward has done. I do hope his Jimbo hire proves to be a huge failure.

You could be right. Boosters may not care if he uses their money to overpay and then uses more of their money to pay off buyouts on his bad deals.

I would think boosters contributing big money that matters are pretty financially savvy and might actually care where their money goes, but maybe not.

JBE's guys got rid of the other two fools in that picture. Thank you, Governor Edwards, for that.

What buyouts? Name them.

Every school in America would have offered O a new contract after 2019. That’s how the gig works.

Arguably the top coaching staff in the nation.

Add up the IQs in that photo, and you might get to 25. Three worthless sacks of shite.

It still blows my mind that Alleva was hired at LSU after the Duke debacle.

Makes absolutely no sense and I sincerely hope that everyone that was involved in his hiring is never allowed to set foot on LSU property again.

You’re the same guy that in 2000 was pissed about Saban’s contract. Here you are two decades later, still mad about how other people choose to spend their money.

Clown Alleva hired O who won a Natty. Bigger clown Woodward extended O and signed off on Bo and the other football hires. I take Alleva over the tool we have now any day of the year.

There's no way you're serious. If you are, then you are completely clueless or just a stupid frick.

...for refurbishing the north side facade of Tiger Stadium that was starting to look like an apartment building in an Iron Curtain ghetto.

It was the first thing he set out to do as AD of LSU, and I be damned if he didn't accomplish just that by seemingly taking off about 70 years in appearance.

Damn fine improvement.

Relationships mean a lot. They trust Woody to not just make the right decisions, but the best decisions for the athletic department. He’s building trust and based on his previous stops, his hiring prowess has been a well-received addition to his fundraising ability.

Some people who are loaded just want the best for their school and Woody is one of the best at nudging them for the big bucks whenever he needs it

All that is chump change in the bigger picture.
If the coaches you speak of were still here we'd still be paying them with no hope of improvement, which in the end would piss off the money men more and cost the program money. I think they're happy to spend it to get rid of the leprosy that staff left on the face of LSU football. Winning costs money and billionaires/multimillionaires prefer winning.

Now let's talk about all the money your boy Alleva wasted. We can start with Les. He went from fired to rehired in a matter of minutes. That's what I call real leadership.
