I always love when you post this thread. It helps to give some perspective to the frick sticks who act like they are LSU fans everytime they jump off the bandwagon.
Thank you for bringing it back!

National championships - 1, a two loss fluke won despite Leslie's best efforts to cock block it.
Ask yourself, why wouldn't someone call a timeout against Ole Miss in that situation? My four year old knows better than that. And please don't announce your stupidity by claiming "it was already over. Who cares?" because that's the most chickenshit, idiot answer to a question I've ever heard. We were down by a field goal and a slim chance is better than none. No?
Part of me thinks that he has serious mental problems, and that these tense endgames get him off. Why else would WE call a timeout with only enough time for one fg and a kickoff? Ole Miss would have called one with 2 seconds left, or something similar. So, Leslie doesn't call a TO with 32 left. No no. That would make too much sense. He instead calls one (I'm still amazed by it) with 6 seconds left because he has a hard on for excruciating drama and wanted the final play to be a Stanford/Cal circus. But aside from the "game was over" quitter idiots, why don't you come up with a better answer? I'm all ears. Look at any of the moronic UT games, or Penn State, or Ole Miss from two years ago, etc, etc, etc, etc.
So he's either crooked or stupid. Pick one. Either way, Alabama should be paying him more than we are. And I'm sorry, but it's LSU that recruits the talent, not him. Get that through your thick heads. If I was Leonard Fournette, I'd get as far the frick away from Les Miles as I possibly could.
No discipline. Tell me I'm wrong. fricking Cholly Mac 2.0. Apparently, someone has decided that a lovable idiot is our lot in life, good enough to win but not good enough to win championships. And no, SEC championships squashed by Bama in the bowl game don't count. Do any of you really feel like we were the SEC champs that year? I'm shocked that we have the nerve to hang the banner.
So from the looks of it, he really wants to be Mike Archer 2.0. And after next season, he will be. No one will want to play for him after that, and I really don't blame them.

The 90's just called and told you to STFU.
We are enjoying the best years in LSU football history over the last decade. Fact
Miles has been the coach majority of those years. Fact
Bottom line, LSU fans have gotten spoiled.

Awesome stuff but beating Auburn, Florida, and BAMA for a fourth time is where we are now. Beat the gumps and the top recruits that are fence sitting may start to lean our way. We have a potential windfall in recruits with a win, with a loss...I will be concerned. With that being said, frick the gumps and

Oh and I feel like we were SEC champions in 2011.
We went 8-0 in the SEC including a victory at Tuscaloosa all with Les Miles on the sideline. Fact

Bottom line, you fricking jug head, is that we lose the big ones, just like with Cholly Dipshit. Thus is our "place." Saban got this train rolling, and it's taken Miles almost a decade to piss it all away.
And has anyone else noticed that whenever we have a seriously intelligent coach (no not Miles), he gets lured away by the Miami Dolphins, who then supply Alabama with their coaches? See Shula and Saban if you're confused.
Our designated "place" is to lose to Alabama. Les is just another stooge who guarantees that. But please, be a fricking monkey. Blindly support a guy because you think your support for a football coach you've never met enhances your manhood. Make me laugh. I have a want to see how fricking blind and stupid you are.

I'm sorry...I can't take anyone that has UL and Saban in their name and claims to be a ULL fan seriously

I wasn't trying to post an argument you fricking gas huffer

I don't think I've ever personally heard Cholly Mac referred to this way in 40 years.
Gawd bless this place.

CLM rocks! The numbers don't lie! Don't be shocked if the Tigers pull one out of the hat in Tuscaloser ...

Wow, cool to be a Tiger Fan when the program is in the best shape in school history.

Love your post Speedy. Helps remind me of the many lean years. Even old veteran fans need to be reminded every so often of the success we have enjoyed as LSU fans over the last few years. Thanks for the perspective.

It's the 90's. Hallman and Dinardo gave this fan base PTSD. Consequently they are satisfied to just go to bowls every year.... Even if we lose, at least it's not the 90's again. Championships aren't as important as it not being the 90's again.
I pretty much agree with everything ULSR said as well.
