D-BO is already better than tahj

Dude chill. Especially if you haven't been watching the games. Debo might be better one day, but Tahj was starting for a reason. Same reason he beat out 3 guys last year for that spot. If you want to talk shite, make sure you have more to critique than just a players weight

So basically, we have the same # of available scholarship players as USC

That might be accurate if you assume USC will lose no players to injuries and other factors. That would be a bad assumption, as they have already begun losing players.

We started with 85, and went down from there. They started at a much lower number.

Pretty sure USC started with 75, so even losing nine we still have more healthy than they have on scholarship total. Like you said, USC also has already lost a few to season ending injuries.

Losing Faulk hurt more than all 4 of these.

faulk big loss, cause already little short at that position

Tyran big loss cause of ability and he is play maker

Jones big loss cause we had weakness at Lb spot and he had game experience.

The rest were talented since they had been recruited and signed but none were starters. You got 85 on the team only 11 on the field at any one time.

Nola was saying Dural gone too due to injury. So that would be 10 according to the OP.

Make that 10 when you add Jordan Allen.

For this season, the 3 recruits have almost no impact. The 4 lost to grades -- only two will have any impact. Tahj, because he was a starter, and Washington because he provided some depth at the o-line we needed due to the Faulk injury. Faulk's injury is huge, but luckily we had a fifth year senior with starting experience sitting on the bench. Mathieu is still the biggest loss, but the freshmen seem to be doing great so far.

Depth has taken a hit and we're being forced to start some stud recruits earlier than we would typically like, but they haven't been critical losses. Long term, I'm worried about not having a destructive force like Mathieu whose impact really can't be measured.
