Our defense played outstanding ball all night and we should be proud, very proud. I think many of us felt that 2012 season would take us all the way and I still believe that. Get your lip out of your lap and start beleiveing. GEAUX TIGAHS!!!

come on man!

This team was awesome to watch this year.

It will be on the only time in history that two teams from the same conference will have to play each other in a rematch for the national title...we lost...it sucks but this team won 13 games, an UNDEFEATED SEC CHAMPIONSHIP. that is impressive. I remember watching other teams go undefeated in the conference and hoping LSU would someday do it.

We are about to see it twice in a row with Back to Back SEC championships and back to back national title game appearances but this time next year...we will all be celebrating the BCS championship.

Not any more. Get someone to change your diaper or grow up and move on.

Some of you "fans," I swear....

The BCS loss was the worst losing team performance in the history of College football Championship playoff, BCS and before that with final AP polls and UPI polls, beyond comprehension.

It was bad, but your claim is pretty subjective.

Despite LSU's loss on Jan. 9, it was still the best season in college football. LSU beat every team on the schedule and finished with more wins than anyone else. No other team can make that claim.

To the OP:
If you're still feeling depressed about the game, you need to take a break from LSU football. Stop reading about it for a month and gain some life perspective. You'll feel better.

Definitely the funnest season I've watched since 2007. As good as our defense was last year with Nevis and Peterson, the offense made the games feel boring at times.

Also, aside from the Jan 9th. The only thing I regret is looking forward too much. After we'd blow a team out I never really "cherished" the win. Just looked ahead to the next one.

SEC title means something. Losing the final game the way LSU did lose, takes away some...yes, but in time things will appear more in focus.

I would rather have gone 0-12. Then we wouldn't have been embarrassed on national tv in the last game of the year!

You are one lying arse MFer to.

A perfectly worded explanation for what's wrong with a large portion of our fans...so thanks at least for that.

LSU goes 13-1, curbstomps EVERY TEAM they played with the exception of BAMA in Tuscaloosa but still come away with the win, wins the SECW, the SEC and plays in only our THIRD BCSNCG ever...and fans compare this season to the 2008 8-5 team?

The restraint it requires not to go ad hom here...wow.

Haven't felt this bad since 2009. Had the ole piss ordeal and then lost to Penn State in the bowl game. That was bad. At least in 2008, we beat the shite out of GA tech. Last year beat Texas A&M.

And I would be not surprised if some of these fans and internet heroes once again start pulling for Miles to lose frequently so he can be fired.
