I doubt a Miles coached team beats either FLA or AU.....

Mac got fired because of the culture fit and the death threat situation.
The team isn't good and won't make a bowl, but he probably would have survived this season if he wasn't an idiotic a-hole.
As for Bert, I didn't expect Arkansas to be higher than a 6 or 7 win team. I don't think anyone did.
I would definitely have taken whatever the over was on fired coaches before the season. A lot of fan bases weren't happy with their coaches before the season started, including LSU.
ETA: I've been championing the fact that the SEC is overrated since like 2014. The amount of fired coaches doesn't have to be the reason for me thinking the conference is down.
I took State's over season win total strictly because I thought the conference was being overvalued again.

No.
If you give O credit for improving things since the Troy loss, you have to take away that credit for getting us there in the first place.

They better win all 3 remaining games with this weak schedule they had this year...next year Coach O will get exposed with a tougher schedule

So the fact that they’re going to win 4, 5 at most, means they are indeed worse than you expected?
The SEC may have been overrated since 2014, but this is the weakest it has been in 20 years.

You're preaching to the choir. The conference has been getting worse pretty much every season since 2013. Last year, we were a Tennessee win against Vandy from them going to the fricking Sugar Bowl.
And think of how many fluky wins Tennessee had last season. Oklahoma would have beaten them by 40.
Why would you have thought the conference would be better than it was last season, with all the shite coaches in this league?

I think we lose to State regardless of coaching, but it wouldn't have been that bad under Miles.

Losing to State wasn't bad... but losing to them by 30 was real bad... losing to Troy was just awful.... losing to Bama I have no problem with... now winning the last three games and getting a New Year's Day bowl will make me very happy.

Who said it was better than last year? It’s even worse. The only evidence you’ve provided to explain that the conference was expected to be this bad are two teams performing even worse than you thought they would. That only strengthens the point you’re arguing against.
