liked that we went for it.

I didn't

It's a medium distance to pick up the first down and with the time and time out situation the smart choice was to punt it, even if AU was gashing our defense.

You have to punt it, load the box, and hope you can force a 3rd and 5 or longer and make them throw it.

From an outsider...I watcheed the game and the 4th down try was a puzzle...it was so off based..and I wonder what the actual playcall was? Lee was certainly confused and after a timeout it would seem like a good play call with a scenario with it would be called. I just think he was better at just throwing it up for grabs was better option...it WAS 4th down anyway! He should have been told that. Dont worry about a pick if play breaks down. You had to got for it on 4th down..robo qb was taking your lunch money and you probably werent getting ball back with any time left. AU only punted three times in the game.
The truth is this though...LSU didnt deserve to win after giving up that much yardage on the ground...honestly.Its amazing that the game was that close. I was surprised at how easily they ran on you guys...LSU was the best defense in the SEC.

I think it was a designed run for Lee. If Tolliver goes deep and the db follows him, Lee runs for the first down.
