One more time.... Expect more of the same in 2010. That is all.

I think WHO we lose to matters most.
Not picking on LSU ATL TIGAH, but this serves as an alarming sign post about where we have drifted in terms of confidence, execution, physical play and dominance.

It used to be "I think WHO we beat matters most". Now we have to settle for "I think WHO we lose to matters most". As a program, we are on our heals - thanks mainly to sub-par coaching. Hope for the best but expect mediocre... again.

And Miami and Tennessee are paying for their mistake of waiting too long to fire a coach who won a NC.

So it has nothing to do with who they hired after winning a NC? It all has to do with how long they waited? No wonder no one takes anything you have to say seriously. Hell, St. Nick could turn either of those programs around over night.

Not ALL, but a lot. The further you get past the point of no return, the harder it is to...... return.

Would it really matter? We are NOT going to hire a big name coach.
May as well just stick with his mediocrity. Better than risk a collapse. As long as he recruits well, Miles could be a babbling idiot and still win 7 to 9 games for the rest of his career. and never get fired.

Indeed - is it realistic to expect LSU to win 10 games every year and go to a BCS bowl? Nothing the matter with an above average team that goes 7 - 5 to 9-3 with an occasional bowl win. It is our program under his total decision making.
A 10 win season every several years might be nice also.
But he is not getting fired unless we go 6 -6 or below.

frick that, Not when he is being paid up there with the top 10 coaches in the country. Its not like LSU has below average facilities. 7-5 to 9-3 playing for 3rd in the SEC 3 years in a row doesn't cut it.
