Can Linehan pick up where Brady left off?

It all depends on Brennan. They are going to call the plays that they trust him to execute.

Not only trust in QBs ability to deliver but play caller philosophy. Each variable drives the other.

Last year our philosophy was to let it all hangout because Burrow could handle it. The system should continue if Brennan can handle the situational play calling. If not, we will have issues on 3rd down and in the red zone. It should be obvious where we stand after game 1.

I'm going to say it all depends on Brennan's ability to identify pre-snap.

In red zone everything is faster and condensed (obviously), so identifying blitz/zone/positions of the LBs & DBs is much harder because of that condensed space.

IF you can identify it, then you go for it and trust in your players/talent/making plays. But that has to happen first pre-snap.

Add RPO reads to that equation also.

Linehan sucked with the cowboys in those situations. Great between the 20s.
