Your right we could have scored 15 in every game.

Everyone strands a runner now and then but the bottom 4 hitters did nothing. Absolutely nothing and it cost us. Would love to see the stats of how many each starter LOB.

How many obvious ball 4’s did we swing and miss and strike out on. Likely 12-15

I don’t mean to be a dick here, but have you ever hit against really good pitching? Those “obvious ball 4’s” to you on tv aren’t “obvious” at all in real life. It’s actually what makes good pitching beat good hitting mostly. They look like strikes until it’s too late.

Pretty much every 3-2 Storm threw. He was going to walk the bases loaded

Their pitching had a lot to do with it.

Now you have to ask how did USM compile so much better pitching than LSU…

They develop them. They take guys that throw mid to upper 80’s and fill out their frame and develop them into great pitchers. The thing about those guys is they already know how to pitch. When you throw mid 90s in HS all you have to do is blow it by people. So USM is getting guys that are good pitchers and not just throwers and then they develop and pack some weight on them and add velo. Their guys aren’t throwing mid 90s coming out of HS. It’s kinda the opposite of how we were with Dunn the last few years. He would take guys that threw mid to upper 90s and their velo would actually drop over the course of their LSU career.

That is simply not true. They have SEVERAL that sat at 95 and hit 98. One of their guys, either number 2 or 3, was a transfer portal. Hall was developed. You don’t “DEVELOP” 96 and 2/3 weekend guys tossed that. I’ve followed them since 2009 when they made it in their old coaches last season.
