I was strictly talking about it from a talent point of view.
in that regard he was greatly responsible for the lack of senior and junior year talent and experienced talent as he recruited the classes that would have provided those players. Any remaining 2014 recruiting class players were redshirt seniors, 2o15 class were seniors and redshirt juniors and 2016 class were juniors and redshirt sophmores. We were very short on players who contributed on offense in those catagories (except for the ones who came via transfer in later classes) which upper class talent and leadership is what you would expect a good offense to be counting on. WE had to instead rely on a bunch of freshman, redshirt freshman, sophmores, and transfers on offense in 2018. That's all I am saying. But yes, you are right, this is Orgerons team and recruiting is going strong, those young players now are a year older and more experienced and the outlook is pretty solid. So I agree with you.
in fact the outlook and direction the team is trending has it that many long term coach O detractors are coming around to him and seeing the good he has been doing for the program and now feel confident enough in what he is doing and where he has the program now trending that they now believe and confidently expect LSU to have one of the best seasons LSU has ever had, A one loss season (with no ties), Something the program has only achieved a few times over the last 57 years (2011, 2003, and 1969). Talk about a turn of events.
even the hardest of hardcore haters are coming around and getting aboard the LSU Express barreling down the tracks. Better get on board while there is still room for you!

What was our average final ranking?
Idk but I would assume a great coach would finish with a higher average end of the year ranking than recruiting ranking...or at least equal to the recruiting ranking...wouldn’t you agree?

If O had accomplished half of that youd want calendar to be readjusted to before and after O at lsu.

And I've always said a better x and O coach couldve had more success with the talent miles had. You're just too football ignorant to understand that their are very few coaches that are great x and O coaches that can also recruit like miles. That's what makes them the best coaches.

All rankings(polls and recruiting)are subjective.

Yep it's what I expect when you atent even playing 1 of the 4 toughest sec schedules out there. I expected 1 loss seasons under miles(a far more accomplished coach than your deity) too.
