That was hideous.

He may not have made any mistakes but he doesn't make plays either...he is terrible..stares down receivers and still takes too long to make a dicision. Lee needs a chance before we get to the tougher games on the schedule...bottom line

please tell me, which receiver did he stare down? I just finished re-watching the game and looking for solid proof this is what he was doing. I can't see it. Just because his head is turned to one side of the field does not mean he is staring the receiver down. As a matter of fact I saw several plays where he either had gone through his progression or was half through it when the pressure hit.

the pass to TT near the 10, 2 plays before he ran the TD in is a good example, he noticed the hole in the zone, signaled it to TT and came to him as his second read.

ETA : btw, yeah that pitch was garbage, he held it a bit to long then rushed it.

2008 defense was clearly struggling, and JL had already thrown his first pick six before we went to the swamp.

Neither is the case this year.

JJ did make plays last night... His 2 deep balls were perfect throws that were dropped. If they would have held on to those two catches he'd have 2 td's and over 150 yards

On defense ,YES. On offense??? Not so much. LSU will not beat Fla and Bama or AU with FG'S. The D is fricking awseome. I just don't want to see them on the field so much. The O needs to sustain some drives the WHOLE game.

Defenses two main limitations are stopping the run up the middle/mobile QBs and the playcalling of going into zone by Chavis.

Otherwise, this defense could be the best in the past 4 years. I doubt this defense is as good as the 2005 or 2006 defenses much less the 2003, but it will still be a great defense.

This team will go as far as the offense will take it. We are improved on OL, but this OL is not good enough to dominate the line of scrimmage like Bama did last year to overcome an average QB. It may get there, but we'll see how they fare against the bi boys.

All in all, LSU has a great shot to be in the hunt if the offense improves. Otherwise, we'll be the same team as last year.

I like this team.
But our offense is hard to watch.

+1

Agree 100%. I hope LSU continues to improve every game. If so, many people will be surprised.

LSU has been 3-0 the past 2 years as well. How did that turn out? 115th ranked pass offense and rantards still defend JJ. That shite's HILLARIOUS.
