On that swing pass to LF on the first drive for a big gain, LF was gearing up to truck #26 ala Deontay Anderson, but Chark got in the way

Jamal has never been a Landry/jones/Reid type safety even though that's how some fans picture him. He is similar to Brandon Taylor with better instincts but slightly less speed.

He is a great open field tackler but he closes very quickly and takes out the legs rather than make a hard hit to the torso. The times he does hit high for a highlight play is when he makes a great read and makes the hit when the offensive player is just catching the ball.

He is not a "big cat" player. He is a great football player though

It did!

Like the good sport that he is, he got up and clapped for the guy who just trucked him. At least he bounced the RB out of bounds as his backside hit the turf.

The throwback pass to Sprinkle had potential to be a big play but Adams recognized it right away and got there immediately. Can tell that the LSU defense was well coached and prepared for our offense. Those kind of plays usually work for us.
