I'm glad you couldn't refute my point. Thanks for proving me right. No one goes to a bar at 9:30 on any night. Why don't you get off of your computer and go lift some weights or shoot up on your roids? I mean it would be way cooler than being on your computer at 9 on Friday anyway right? Wait a second....irony?

ive considered that but i mean i doubt the headline all over the news and ESPN will be "LSU STUDENTS ARE CLASSLESS" and even if it does ESPN already hates LSU so it couldnt get much worse

If you're having to think of a moral compromise, then there's probably a problem. Do what you want to do. I read the other thread, it's pretty funny, but these are also peoples lives. Yeah, they open themselves up to it with public forums like facebook, but it gives us a bad wrap when Tebow and others have been subject to this crap. I think it's better to direct our attention to our team and the game. Why give message board material and inspire the opposition?
Like I said, I was cracking up at the other thread, but really, in the end, it's just a bad deal.

if you are going to be one of the texters or callers and spread the number around, you know some people take it too far
it happened with JPW, moreno and it happened with Tebow....and when Tebow played it back at yall (the student section), how did you react? dy droppig f bombs loud enough for the entire stadium to hear
seems to me,like if it was all in good fun, you could take it when the player plays back with ya'll (student body)
i'd rather if the students involved in this just said, "we really don't care how it looks, we just want to irritate him. we don't care what anyone thinks, because we think it is fun. and no, we cannot take anything thrown back in our face"

There's a difference between the earlier fun and then the Tim Tebow situation where annoying him is 1 thing, threatening harm on others is another. i believe the harmless fun will of course end up goin south, but it's the nature of the beast i suppose

having his number isn't a problem
crank calling/crank texting and spreading the number is more of a problem because you know people take it too far

Just for the record, I was one of those people who called Tebow....but when he gestured back at us I just laughed. I was appalled when they started dropping F bombs.

Every student section does little stuff like getting on people's facebooks, ect. It just can't get to the level of Eric Gordon going to Illinois or Kevin Love going back to Oregon

espn never had headlines saying "LSU students tip over port o potty's, throw bags of urine, throw beers from upper decks after scores and flip off old ladies" either, but all of those got started somewhere
it could have just been some drunk guy who went to baton rouge for the day and never been in TS in his life. but when you represent LSU, you represent me, so your actions become the concern of all those connected to LSU
i don't think it is too much to ask to just consider how all LSU fans feel about it, not just you and your friends
i could accept you saying, "yeah, it could turn bad, because i really don't care. i am just a selfish immature cllege kid having fun"....but don't make it seem like it is harmless and nobody cares, we both know that isn't true

If you were oh so mature and upstanding you wouldn't have brought up childish points for no reason. I don't need you telling me whats cool either for the record. I fail to see how you have displayed maturity since your first post in this thread so don't use it as your defense. Oh and before you bring it up, as you said i'm a college student with no wife, degrees, or MBA's which evidently means you can't hold me to that same standard.
