.it was like they were using Les miles plays. Right up the middle for no gain.
I keep hearing this from some of our fans.
There was literally nothing remotely close to a Brian Kelly LSU team and a Les Miles LSU team.
Les’ teams were physical, tough, could run the ball over, through, and around you. Problem with Les was he couldn’t develop a QB after Jimbo left. His offenses were one dimensional, but tough as nails.
Kelly’s teams were soft, not very physical, and couldn’t run the ball at all.

Yep and he tried the same shite, run up the middle against bama in the championship game.

What area of the team was better than the one he inherited?
We went steadily down .

EVERYTHING - Could Have TOTALLY Been Different......BUT
Kelly absolutely KILLED & LOST that Game, the Team, rest of the Season & ultimately Himself
INSTANTLY
By Deciding to FOLD @ the End of the First Half!!
I posted it immediately when it happened, and several times after, because I still can not believe what B. Kelley Did! (check my posts for I'm tired of reliving that DISASTER!)
With over 1 minute left on the clock in first half - we were set to score - after a great drive down to the A&M 46!
And Brian Kelly CHICKENED OUT - TOTALLY!
Nus & the offense were on the field - stunned - in disbelief (including espn) that Kelley had decided to fold/quit & head to the locker room!!
It was then & there......that Kelley exposed himself. From THAT "Moment" (root word of MOMENTUM) Kelley DESTROYED any/all Forward Success (check the stats, wins/losses from that moment/decision @ end of first half in Kyle Field 2024)!!

That was never going to happen. Kelly was a fraud and too lazy, arrogant and incapable of building and leading a premier program against tough competition.
If it wasn’t for Daniels, Nabers, Thomas and Denbrock his inadequacies would have been more evident and exposed early on.

I mean…. It worked in Tuscaloosa.
Miles error was thinking Saban would let it happen twice.

Lane Kiffin is the perfect coach for LSU. Kelly was one of the great scams over the last 5 years of college football.
