Sept. 5: UT-SAN ANTONIO

May start a little slow but should roll with a good tune up win 55-10. 1-0

Sept. 12: TEXAS

This one could be scary without the home crowd to help us, however we have better talent and coaches. They have the edge with experience. Should win this one 42-28. 2-0

Sept. 19: at Rice

Perfect first road game. Win 48-7 3-0

Sept. 26: OLE MISS*

Perfect game for a first conference game. At home and against a team that played us way better than they should have last year. Kiffin will come out swinging but the talent diferential is just too much. 38-14. 4-0

Oct. 3: NICHOLLS STATE

Great resting game before Florida. 62-7. 5-0

Oct. 10: at Florida*

One of the games that will decide the season and first true road game in a tough environment. Will fans be there though? This will be a toss up game but I have us winning 31-28. I think Pelini is the difference here. 6-0

Oct. 17: at Arkansas*

Back to back SEC road games are scary...however if we have to do it then Arkansas is the perfect second team. Easy win despite the slow start. 42-6 7-0

Oct. 24: MISSISSIPPI STATE*

Back at home and a bye week coming. I can see this game being like last year with us being clearly better but State staying closer than they should. Thankfully this game is at home. Win 35-21 8-0

Nov. 7: ALABAMA*

Yet again this game will decide the West. I am counting on fans in the stands by this date and will go with the Tigers winning a close one after a Brennan game winning drive. 38-35 9-0

Nov. 14: SOUTH CAROLINA*

Like Arkansas before it, this team is the perfect SEC team to play after a huge Bama game and before a brutal stretch of two away SEC games. Muschamp likely will be gone by this game. 40-20 W 10-0

Nov. 21: at Auburn*

This will be an extremely tough game and I never pick a team to go 12-0 so I am picking an Auburn win in a close one. I expect Bo Nix to be much better and expect fans in the stands. 28-27 L 10-1

Nov. 28: at Texas A&M*

I see us coming into this game with everything on the line and us winning a thriller. 35-28 W 11-1

All these can change based on if there are fans and how many but I love this schedule for a repeat of winning the West. All comes down to at Florida, Bama and at Auburn.

Kudos

Added: We could go 12-0 again!

11-1 is a safe bet but I don’t see a loss at Auburn against Nix and a rebuilding AU dee

Why do you have us giving up so many points. And then say BO will be the difference in a game where we give up 35??????

Bama, Florida, and Auburn are toss ups.

LSU should beat the rest handily.

Why is everyone overlooking Texas. That game worries me.

Yep, the three toughest games are Bama, UF and AU. If LSU could win 2 of those would be a great season

If it's a packed Tiger Stadium then I definitely see why people are overlooking Texas. Empty stadium and the spread will likely only be -4 LSU or so.

There WILL be fans in the stands by the time we play Texas IMO. However we will have to see what happens after this last weekend when there were people everywhere... if there is not a huge spike in cases we can proceed......

Fair comment!

Texas finished 33rd last year!

They forever fail to live up to the hype!

I see two losses
I think LSU beats Fla
Loses to Bama and one other team (Texas or A&M)
New Years Six or Cap One

21 setting up for another playoff appearance

Damn, dude. Even Les Miles only went 7-5 against a much tougher SEC schedule and with less talent on the team. I don’t think they’ll even lose all of the toughest 3. I see 10-2 or 11-1.
