A young, cerebral defensive mastermind who consistently fielded top 10 defenses at 2 schools. A guy who understands the modern game and will bring in a young, complimentary offensive staff to his defensive system. LSU has a rising star in CFB currently on their staff. The guy will be a damn good coach somewhere, might as well be for the Tigers; a place with a history of producing elite defensive talent. Which defensive recruit wouldn’t want to come crack heads for Aranda and go be a pro bowler?

Alleva has hitched his wagon to too many bad decisions and bad hires, with Orgeron/Esminger being the latest in a string of debacles. Buyouts, wasted contracts, etc days are over. Alleva goes down with Orgeron. Saban will not be at Alabama much longer. He is old and tired. Perfect opportunity for a new dynasty to rise in the West. Sure, 2018 will be dark days but Aranda can be the face of the program for 20+ years. Just gotta tough it out for one shite year.

He was not on board with SE as O Coordinator.

I look for Aranda to leave in 2-3 weeks

You expect him to go against his leadership? Especially when he knows he has a realistic shot at the job in 2019 when all this shite falls apart new year??? If I were in his shoes, I'll act like I'm loyal too

It's pretty smart if you think about. With everyone hating O and Ensminger, we'll love Aranda even more. Not to mention, once O gets fired Aranda will be the Interim coach. He wins either way.

I don't blame him cuz if this experiment doesn't work, Special Ed and Alleva would be gone, hence would give him a quicker chance to be head coach here, which I would not blame him if he supported the Ensminger hire. Aranda isn't dumb.

New AD will want to make his own hire. He will be looking to go big. Aranda isn't going to be the big hire.
