Do you guys really think k Joseph true position is cb? I thought he was taking one for the team to help with CB depth. I think he gets drafted as a FS if he can get there for consecutive years.

High school coach said the only reason he switched to safety was bc he shut down one side of the field and wasn’t making any plays bc he never saw the ball come his way. So he moved him to safety so he would have more opportunities to make plays on defense

Joseph flashed at times this year. He can definitely play corner in the SEC and NFL. Most freshman have to take their lumps when they get on the field.

I dont see anything wrong with saying this.

No one really knows at this point. He could easily move to FS, show out, and then folks Tati g that he shoulda been there since day one.

I counted 82 players and you didn't name scholarship kickers and punter and holder. Attrition will have to come from this group to make numbers work.

I think that they will use Charles Turner a "blocking TE" while he develops into a potential Center. He will need to hit the S&C to develop in either case.

Crazy that we had a tight end and maybe two ( Ray Parker), but we still had to get a Juco.

His is why we are looking for OL, DL, and CB at the end but won’t have room at the inn

Hearing E at his press conference the other day, it made sense why we took him. They need someone they can count on to play next year. E said we only played one tight end all year and it wasn't by design. It limited some things he wanted to do.

So, from hearing this, I think it's safe to assume Moffitt might never play (should have never been offered, imo), Sheffer and Scott weren't playable (and probably have a long way to go), and Moss might not ever be healthy.

So next year, we're counting on a guy coming off a torn ACL and a whole bunch of unknowns.

So I’m not a nega-

But would you call this a total mismanagement of the roster?

It is taking up quality depth spots at other important positions.

Total mismanagement? No way. It seems more like a couple of misses and a little bad luck.

I'm not sure why Moffitt was offered. Maybe Miles saw something in him that just never panned out.

Scott is a tremendous athlete, but he's very raw. And he might not even stay at TE. I know coming in they liked him at buck LB and that's where he was early in the year.

Vol says Sheffer looks like a total miss so far. It happens.

Moss and Pettigrew got hurt. That happens, too. Pettigrew and Moreau would have been a very solid duo for us.

I expect this group to see some attrition this spring and summer, too.

With 3 seniors next year and who knows what will happen to charles turner, we will need 3-4 interior linemen recruits.

Not sure what to do about Ed Ingram. He says he’s coming back.

No it's not. Our problem with quality depth at other position is that we can't get enough of them to agree to come here. It's not the 25 scholarship annual limit, nor is it the 85 scholarship total limit. Hell, we used one of each to get Terrance Alexander to come here for one year. We've given scholarships to walk-ons in the past.

Great work, but D White ain’t coming back and Fehoko moves down to nose and starts over Shelvin with Logan and Lawrence at ends. There are so many question marks as to who will declare so still a wait and see with so many.
