Well saying that Feduccia didn't have the ability or personality he expects out of our catchers behind the plate sounds pretty rough

Good looking roster to me. A lot of talented freshmen on it, with Duplantis, Watson, and Hess being our leaders. Anyone have any idea who might start at catcher, or is it too early?

Just out of curiosity, how many schools around the country do you think are having their offseason baseball press conference broadcast on an ESPN platform? I would guess not even the whole SEC.

This is the type of stuff I really like to hear about, because I'm a nerd. But it's pretty cool that Ochinko was able to get out on the road and eval and recruit.

and learn from another hitting coach?

ETA: including spending time with former Yankees and Cubs hitting coach Jeff Pentland, breaking down #LSU hitters.

Yes, a former MLB hitting coach apparently.

Undergrad assistant. Continuing the trend of bringing in guys after they get released from the minors.

I'm all for it. It's a way to increase the size of the coaching staff since the NCAA feels like baseball doesn't matter.

Looks like there will be a Texas Collegiate League team in Baton Rouge next season. That's what they were discussing.

ETA: Said it may give an opportunity for some of the pitchers to get innings and be in school at the same time.

Jaden Hill looks like a dude. CJ Willis looks slim. Aaron George is a giant.

I feel like we've seen quite a shift in what our average pitcher looks like.

13 pitchers on this roster are at least 6'4, 15 are at least 6'3

I didn't make it again this year. 55 years is a long time to wait.
