I don't think it was the bad pick at the time. Haskins had an insane season. Some players just don't work at certain schools. Burrow wouldn't be the goat at any other school

I believe from what I am seeing that BK is willing to insert Nuss in a game now if he does not like what he is seeing from JD or if he just wants to keep both QBs working.

He wasn’t the GOAT in 2018. Maybe it was just the system, but Haskins put up way better numbers than Burrow in 2018. I’m sure Burrow would have been great in 2019 in any system, but would he have been as great in OSU’s system with no Chase, Jefferson, or Marshall? OSU’s offense scored a lot of points that year too. I don’t think you can say for sure they would have won an NC in 2019 and almost definitely not in 2018. More than likely he wasn’t ready and Urban wasn’t really in a position to wait on him when he had Haskins.
